Future Events Can Luffy become pirate king without being Top 1 in the verse?

Luffy is definitely not going to be the strongest the way Oda has written things Post timeskip. Every fight he's had against somebody strong has been 2v1 with asterisk next to all of them. To this day we havent seen luffy defeat a Yonko commander on his own. Now he's going to defeat a Yonko with the combined effort of 10 plus individuals most likely. And Oda wants to end the story soon, theres no time to make luffy the strongest in the verse honestly. Same goes for the strawhats...... they wont be the strongest pirate crew.

This is garbage. Unlimited Gear 4 would beat anyone but the Yonkos or the Admirals. In fact, I think he could have probably taken even Fujitora in Dressrosa if Gear 4 was unlimited. Fuji got rocked a basic Gear 3 attack. Maybe throw in retired Sengoku and Garp in there too.

Just look at Snakeman. Katakuri was in WAY better shape than Luffy.

30 mins of Snakeman he wins (and no FS because Luffy was angry/screaming and not calm)

No commander stands any chance against unlimited Gear 4.

Mate, a KKG would eviscerate Cracker. Oda simply wanted to showcase Tankman against him, like Snakeman with Katakuri. I don't know why people overthink this. Oda will make Luffy struggle against random fodder like Apoo or Ulti, when we know for a fact he can obliterate them.

Considering that KG is only able to break one shield of one biscuit double, I am not so sure about that.
I still doubt tankman being an actual form, there is literally no use of a form that makes you a sitting duck.
Apoo and Ulti are not good at countering Luffy, Cracker is. It is an entirely different matter.

If you're not strong no one will acknowledge you (like Blackbeard didn't acknowledge Luffy being the 5th Emperor). Snakeman Did not beat Katakuri, Katakuri got the better of that Form. Luffy didnt win that fight with strength, Katakuri gave him the fight. It doesnt matter if Gear 4 is unlimited or not, Commanders still have the ability to damage and deal with luffy in that form. Also Fujitora literally could have destroyed Luffy his crew and the entire grandfleet if he wanted to....... but the people of dressrosa saved them....
