Oda bringing it full Circle. Wano started off with Zoro about to commit Suicide because of the Samurai way, but he found the real culprit. Kaido is jealous of Samurai because they are honorable (They die in great ways or if the shame themselves they commit suicide),but Kaido can't kill himself. Which makes sense why he respects Samurai so much.
Kaido wants to go out in a great battle, but he can't doe nor kill himself. This makes him depress. Lets say he considered what he did to Oden Shameful. A samurai would kill themselves, but he can't.

Honestly not likely. A 9 chapter volume hasn't happened in a long time for OP. Volume 1 had 7, but that was because Chapter 1 was nearly 50 pages. I think Volume 28 had 8 or 9 chapters but it is by far the smallest volume in the series. 10-11 is usually the minimum nowadays, and its been consistent i think for the last 40-50 volumes.
That being said, this is ONLY the 10th chapter in that regard. Volume 98 could in fact end with 995 and be an 11 chapter volume, so potentially next chapter has a purposely big cliffhanger and is the volume ender.
