well perhaps I will never get on it till I see it
cause killing kaido prob gives zoro a great amount of credit for kaido's defeat .
this isnt the case if he reopens the scar like law's gamma knife on doffy where he is seen as a crucial participant.
killing kaido puts him in direct competition for luffy in terms of the "hero" status of wano.

just taking a look back at prev arcs
and how things turned out
dont think oda is keen on sharing luffy's spotlight with anyone .
This doesnt just go for zoro, but kid and law as well.

Why on earth would zoro not be up for hero of wano status ? Especially with all his ties to it.

I just dont think the author will ever write that in.

aside from beating a top tier 1v1
might as well be the best thing done by him arguably in the story if it happens, but am still in doubt.

It makes since for Zoro to fight the numbers since Apoo controls them with his music. We haven't seen Apoo do that yet since he w6 stop earlier. That needs to be done before he's defeated.

Apoo is no a threat to Zoro. He knows how to easily counter Apoo's attacks and he can tank them so the numbers are the only thing Oda can do that would stop Zoro from quickly retrieving the antidote.

As long as Zoro is using someone like King as a warm up that is ok to me, but he already took two nova out and easily before the Enma training was ultimated, so I think that going with a third would be too redundant.

Technically this and wci are different cause
Sanji and zoro met the princess of the arc and sanji is the one who ended up saving totland from being wiped out by meme.
Zoros the one whose been all around wano and met all the people suffering from the injustice whilst luffy was in udon, zoro saved hiyori and met yasu etc

I guess they are banking on it not happening

Its not just him, theres quite a few, its actually how shocking how easily they cast aside rogerbeard tbh.

kaido almost admits the man was capable of killing him .


you could go back to when the chap came where they fought , folks claimed kaido still "one shot". 20 yrs later you know what, he is still in awe of what oden did to him. Because oden is capable of making someone like kaido look so bad, he must be at least yonko status or higher. at this point , I say roll with it , and if people not yonko status or higher replicate or do better than oden could manage,
I want wg to keep that same energy wanking these individuals once the arc is over.
