Yamato has the strongest case right now.
- Heavy focus overall
- Quite possibly the strongest heavy hitting female ever (aside from BM and Smoothie if gets off her ass and does something this arc)
- Hints to a tragic flashback
- Revelvant to Luffy and Ace, which merits a backstory coming
- Hidden upper limit
- Redundant to the Scabbards IF she stays on Wano
Carrot current only saving grace is Oda actually allowing her to confront Perospero. I am rooting for her too, but she has less focus and less importance right now. If by any chance she gets a moderately decent flashback with Pedro all whilst exemplifying WHY helping lead the Strawhats to "dawn" is a big deal. She needs that to happen, but I also would assume that she would stowaway anyway on the ship like she did before or the Mink Kings with Oden.
Right now I expect Yamato to be the 11th, with Carrot becoming the "unexpected" 12th AFTER the arc ends and they sail on to the next island.
Then you have Vivi, who's importance not only needs to be reintroduced (which it clearly is since something drastic happened to Alabasta), but also needs to be tied to the Strawhats again. She has 2 roadblocks:
- First, she needs to have been saved or rescued by Sabo or Sai from the Reverie, if she wasn't captured. Leo left the Reverie and helped Pound during Bege's cover story so definitely not him.
- It has to be one of these 2 because they have Luffy's vivre card, she can't reach them otherwise. It can't be Koby, who does know about Luffy in Wano, because he went in the opposite direction to Amazon Lily.
- She'd have to be the centerpoint of relevance for the rest of the series. She already seems to be with Im holding her picture, but we have no idea as of yet what it all means.
Essentially Vivi needs to return to the crew to drive forward the plot for the final war. Her joining the crew could allow other kingdoms to feel like following the strawhats is a good thing. Plus, im sure she is moderately stronger.
