So who will be luffys assuming he gets one?
Imo kid definitely has the highest chance of being luffys main rival in a competitive love to hate eachother type way. With luffy and law probably having a similar relationship to shanks and mihawk

The closest individual that Luffy has to a rival is Blackbeard. They both started their pirate captain careers at roughly the same time, they met each other early on in their careers and they have both achieved great accomplishments within the same time frame.

As for Kidd and the Super Scrubs, no. They are not Luffy's rivals. They never have been and likely never will be. Pre-TS Luffy has achieved more than every Supernova combined and Post-TS Luffy is going to achieve more in two months than all the Supernovas together have achieved in two years.

Those aren't mutually exclusive terms. Both are vying for the Pirate King title, and so far, of his contemporaries, Teach's been the most competitive with Luffy.

While yeah hes definitely one of his biggest rivals hes definitely gone be taken out relatively soon. Imo teach is the whitebeard to shanks's roger and xebec to luffys roger.

4. Both the biggest names to come out of each crew and their generation as a whole

That's with the likes of Katakuri and Law respectively. But also Kidd instead of Katakuri.
