The one thing about that Cracker fight I never understood was why Nami didn't just shock Cracker with lightning? There was no need for Luffy to keep eating those soldiers in base form.

Luffy's Gear stacking just allows him to utilize the benefits of G2 and G3 at the same time. Nothing suggest his G2 gets better, likewise with G3. G4 comes with better speed (he was able to completely blitz Doffy) and far better AP.

Except Gear 2 was still too slow and only worked right after Gamma Knife. He needed Law to land Red Hawk or Hawk Gatling.

And Gear 3 was shit compared to Doffy's devil fruit

There no reason to believe GK affects Doffy's speed because he is self repairing his organs and didn't commented that he slowed down.

Luffy has better G3 attacks but Doffy felt the need to use spider web to block it.

So if Luffy combine the properties of G2 and the mass/strength of G3, its a destructive combo because the added speed for G3 will make the attack stronger but yeah G4 is better overall. It unfortunate though that Luffy mastered his G2/G3 enough where he has no side effects that he could do gear stacking. Where Oda could had shown the full extent of said ability because we only saw a glimpse of it in thrillerbark.

Probably because the benefits he gets from just using G4 are much better than the benefits he would receive from going the gear stacking route.

Do you have any evidence that Gamma knife affect Doffy's speed because he was still able to dodge G4 attacks..

And all I say is G2 is fast and normal Luffy can hit Doffy.

yeah well, sanjikuns point was that g2 was only able to hit doffy after GK, and then you proceded to post a panel arguing g2 was praised for its speed, but that was also after GK. So i fail to see any relevant point you have raised.

Pretty sure @Admiral Lee Hung has some infographics about GK affecting doffys speed though.

fair enough, the panel did seem very misleading as it was just pointing to exactly what his argument was, that g2 wasnt enough for pre-GK doffy.

Ita really not. Mingo was dodged G3 and G2 when Luffy charged him from a distance. Luffy's punches land when he's directly in Mingo's face.

It's no different as how Katakuri kept going from easily dodging Snakeman to not being able to react at all in their high speed brawl.

If thers a Gear 5 I would love to see another variation of Gear 2. In my opinion its the most badass form with the next being snakeman.

Gear 2 is much faster than Bound man. Non GK Doffy would never get touched by Bound man

I disagree, boundman is faster than g2.
It so fast that Luffy can fly with it while Luffy in g2 couldnt or show the ability to do do.
