Outside of WB with I can understand you are right in one point.
Why WB never look at Oden, why he never try to get a information, let say we ignore it, why the fuck Izo didn´t make any call??
What hold Izo of from getting information of Wano? After Oden leave until his death, 6 years fucking passed away yet both WB and Izo didn´t even visit or make any step to Oden, that is the big thing with annoy me. Oda already make Oden dumb with letting him not get the help of Rayleigh, with the Roger piirates Kaido would get rekt back then.
In that case too many plot armor in case of Kaido happen, he was lucky that multiple things didn´t happen in favour of Oden, of course Oda do it on purpose.
The only one correct answer with I would be okay off is that Roger himself said to WB to stay out of Wano until 20years pass, in that case it would be still not right but I could understand Whitebeard, also Kaido still has 7loses, a connection to Whitebeard and a background story.
I understand you point but I feeling like this problem gonna get revolt later in the arc when we get more information. What I try to say, we don´t have much intel about everything so we could get few more points who could us answer WB though for the whole Kaido/Oden disaster, at least I hope it.

WB agreed to avenge thatch , he said he'd kill teach and he was gonna do that at mf as he straight fought teach.
