Luffy has the MC dna free card.
Zoro is a CoA specialist.
Sanji's CoA is not all that special. But that's bad because CoA is what he needed the most to fight stronger people.
He gets the exoskeleton and voilá, CoA issue fixed. more durability AND it allowed Sanji to increase his own flames power now that he can handle hotter ones.
