It's pretty unlikely Zoro is blind TBH. Rayleigh, Shanks and Kidd have much deeper scars and aren't blind in the eye. The only one who does have eye scars and is blind is Issho, but he took those eyes out himself. There isn't really precedent for Zoro to have lost his eye due to his scar (especially one so narrow).
