I hope in the Zoro vs Mihawk fight we'll get also that elegant vibe, that Mihawk's nicks "Hawkye"/ "Clairvoyant" will be translated into a guy with some absurd unseen level of CoO, while simultaneously being far more deadly than a Kaido or BM. The bloke has been hyped since the early stages of the manga and him being the peak of swordsmanhip which is chased by Zoro just brings something special in this.
Football talk time: Ronaldo (96-98) was one of the five best players in history. The sheer level of dominance he had was alien-like, especially in that Inter and in that Serie A.
His prime was short lived, catastrophic injuries happened and when he came back he wasn't the extraterrestrial of before (despite nonetheless remaining a beast of a player).
I know prime Sengoku (deservedly) gets hyped, but what do you guys think would be the diff in a fight between him and Sakazuki?
That Buddha mythical DF is probably exceptional but I just think it might be short lived against Akainu's attack potency. Like, how much those enhanced physicals would even hold out against the Magu? Or in general full power S tier logias like Pika as well.

Wouldn’t Coalition/Chiyoyou Houmei not being a Fire Dragon outright confirm he wasn’t on that level yet? Him being promoted to Fire Dragon before Juukou implies that only then did he reach that level.
And keep in mind, Coalition Houmei was already Wei’s number 1 Great General, he just still wasn’t on that Fire Dragon level yet. I don’t see how this is controversial. lol

If Gohoumei is likely gonna be = or even > Gokei by the time of the Wei invasion, then a significant portion of the fandom has been terribly underrating him. Remember Gokei's portrayal.
And we say that Reiou made Tou retreat but yesterday I reread the start of that arc, and Gohoumei made Tou (plus all his vassals) retreat too. They literally had to escape, and did so by a hair's breath.
Chapters 307 and 308 are sheer unadulterated Karin hype. A thousand penances for my transgressions.
When her elite army completely repelled Taigo’s pincer (one of Ouki’s elite units) I got hardcore Shibashou vibes. And martial strength isn’t even the primary hype of Karin’s prowess.
They had to triple flank her and even that was just all according to Keikaku for her.
I just reread the War Elephants chapter, and man. Karin is so busted. Don’t know how I missed her strength on my first readthrough. Those War elephants reminded me of Genpou’s sound prison or Gokei’s war chariots, just a completely busted tactic that you really can’t fight.
And that tactic was just a distraction and not even Karin’s man attack.
The only two actual epithets that we've gotten in Kingdom with generals being associated with an animal in their title, are "Qin's Monster Bird" and "Tiger of Chu". I wonder if Hara is cooking something here lol.
And "Monster Bird" had a specific meaning. It referred to Ouki's crazy mobility & ferocity. He materialized anywhere and laid waste to his opponents.
So "Tiger" might also indicate something peculiar.
Agendas aside Kaido was a real monster. Big Mom is completey incomparable to him, she would get mid diffed.
Shitting on Linlin (and Kid) really is one of Oda's favorite sports.

Karin is portrayed as a strategical/tactical freak, she is gonna beat (almost) anybody through those but imma be honest: I think that directly searching for a duel with her would be a horrible idea for the vast majority of the fighters we've seen so far.
The vibe she gives off in her design and demeanour makes me think that she can rock the living shit out of someone in a 1v1. Lol.

Batei's skills as a general actually deserve more credit. I had been rereading the Kokuyou arc and he tactically outmanouvered the Hi Shi unit and Karyo Ten like 2-3 times through it, lol.
Yeah he ain't gonna beat folks like Gyou’Un or Chouugaryuu but he is a solid commander.
Castlevania Nocturne was really a disappointment. The opening scene and the ending scene were the only great stuff. Lol. -
