Except there’s narrative buildup for Zoro surpassing Oden this arc. In WCI we had characters say they couldn’t beat BM without Zoro and the others, so there was no narrative buildup there. :cheers:

I doubt a group of Wano expats in the East Blue would know much about Devil Fruits. DFs were rare in the East Blue, and the people of Wano don't seem to know much about them either.

Oda already set up Queen vs Sanji with the Vinsmoke connection, so even if Marco takes King, it's not like Sanji is getting robbed of anything.

You'd think people would be used to the Yonko and their crews being super arrogant at this point in the story...

To be fair in the Morgan case, Helmeppo had Koby hostage and Luffy left Morgan to Zoro while he punched out Helmeppo.
