That still does not match up with this .
Sanji is facing towards Vergo, not away from him, so Vergo’s attack needs to come from Sanji’s right more.

The leg Sanji is supporting his weight on is to the right of Vergo’s supporting leg, not parallel to it.

If Vergo attacked like he did in that fan art then his foot would be completely obscured by Sanji’s body from the reader’s point of view.

So Vergo’s supporting leg needs to be to the left of Sanji and his attacking leg needs to be much further (and completely unnaturally) to the right of Sanji.
It still does not work. Nice piece of non-canon fan art though.

But sweetie, that's not how that works.

In order to look like Vergo, this is going to be what he needs to do. I know this is hard for you to understand, but even for a contortionist, this is likely very difficult, and the poor contortionist can't throw a kick like that. I hope you understand.

Please, I urge you, try again. I know this stuff is difficult for you to understand, but learning to grow your understanding is what makes learning fun!

Okay sweetie.

Now can you show me when Vergo has shown contortionist skills like that? And can you show me this guy kicking someone with a run up?

That would be very much appreciated.

You see dear, showing a contortionist doesn't actually prove your point. You actually need to show the contortionist doing the action your suggesting in a fight.

I know this is difficult to understand, but you must try.

You lost. He is a vice admiral, a rokushiki user that has techniques like, idk, kami-e, you who is supposedly so well read on the story. Even guys irl can do that kick you

I know this is hard for you to understand, but...can you show any examples of someone actually kicking like that?

Can you show me other examples of characters doing this with their bodies sweetie? I would be very interested in that.

Thank you very much dear.

Sanji's position is inconsequential, he can block that attack in a manner facing Vergo and meeting all your requirements.

Even in the above fan art, Vergo's foot would be visible in the original angle, it is only this particular angle which makes it seem like his right arm is close to Vergo's foot.

I thought the issue was of Vergo placing his right leg in this particular formation, it is very much possible.

Sanji's position is not inconsequential, it is literally half of what is going on in that fight and Sanji is not in the position that you fan art shows him to be in.

From the manga panel, Sanji is clearly far more to the right than what that fan art is showing, which has him parallel to Vergo.

Vergo's foot is literally past his arm and opposite his chest in your fan art. From the angle in the manga, most if not all of Vergo's foot would be hidden.

There are multiple issues going on, that was just one of them.

You realise that fan art is not the fucking same as the manga, you cretin? You start talking about the fanart as if that's what we're advocating for how it looked

I showed you how it is possible, and that it is the only way for it to be possible. I showed you the martial arts dude failing to stand like Vergo while this irl dude can bend and flex exactly like Vergo did

No, I am agreeing with you that Sanji's position is wrong, but I am also saying that he can easily be drawn to face Vergo as in the original.

I don't get what you mean by obscuring Vergo's foot, the camera angle in the original is from the right, Vergo's foot and his long ankle will easily be visible from the right(again, assuming Sanji is placed in original position)

Thank you, it was me who drew it

It was just to show that Vergo using his right leg is very much possible, I'm not taking a side in this debate

not entirely correct drawing but man, you drew that? Epic!!

It is not only possible but the only thing that's possible in this situation. And again, for those who didn't know any better it can be done in real life, like this is not even hard compared to what the best contortionists can do lol

Thanks, yes I am aware it is not quite spot-on.

Spamming might get you banned man, just a heads up.

Um, you haven't shown that its possible to kick that way.

Showing a contortionist is not the same as showing its possible to kick that way.

Do you need a teacher to explain this to you?

How exactly is Vergo going to kick someone with his right leg even if he's as elastic as this dude?

@critical mindset Are you going to post your stuff at the science forum, yes or no?

Relax
for crying out loud, if you have limb flexibility on that level it isn't hard to do a fucking kick like that. You see at 1:26 what he is doing when he throws his fucking leg over his shoulder. That literally is what Vergo is doing but stopping halfways to kick Sanji's face in. He is doing it. 1:26
