Cornelia was good, but she was pushed aside didn't get much room in S2.
Gino is a good wing man, but still a shitty guy for; Muh Brittiannia.

I agree that CG has a better ending. One of the best in anime imo. The little hint at the end though is what I don't really like. I love Lulu, but I'd like for his story to end like that. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if it's all just a plan and he's spending his time with CC and chilling.

You're welcome. Yeah, they changed it because they wanted to make the ending acceptable for all sides as it was completely up to the audience if Lelouch survived or not. There was a lot of criticism because some didn't want Lulu to survive after all he's done and stuff like that.
