Because they don't know what to do. They don't know if they want to make a shared universe like Marvel or be different and bet on different movies. For me the reboot should have started with The Batman!!!

The inconsistent and volatile quality of the writing will be a start, flaws in characterizations, tries too much to be like the MCU.

If they wanted the DCEU to be successful they should have taken exemple on the DCAU to begin with, which was very successful due to its realistic and often dark stories but also lots of hopeful and inspiring moments, they knew how to place humor without it being a detriment to the story and tone of their series, focus on characterization and real-life problems, consistent continuity and ties between the series, etc...

Of course the DCAU wasn't flawless but it's the best example of why DC has consistently been and continues to be better than Marvel in the animation department.

Black adam was an average movie

Batman is the only good movie with aquaman and wonder woman 1 being decent

Speaking of DC, not sure how i'd feel about Joker 2 being musical
I'm sure Joaquin will pull it off beautifully, it's just I fucking despise musical films

Personally I would say it was below average. They are too many superheroes at this point .

Gonna watch Avatar 2 Cameron will probably blow us out of our mind again.
