This brings back some unwelcome memories. It's somewhat cathartic being on the sidelines observing instead of having to deal with it as a mod, though. Whew.
It's very easy to post in the other sections compared to here. You can literally type a couple bs posts in the OP sections and your count grows exponentially. And I can literally rack up 100 posts a day in 3 times lol, you can't do that in a Mafia game where in order to do that you need to be constantly active throughout the day.
I literally log in an hour when I wake up, study for a few hours and eat then re do WG in the afternoon and then study for more hours and eat etc. and finally do my last round before going to sleep. This is a fixed WG routine for me.
If I had to play a game seriously I would post 30 times a day maybe Lol.
I would have to read through all that chaos of one liners and it would take a long time to play the game properly and would burn myself way more.
My brain works on ADHD rapid fire when I’m really engaged so a lot of times I say something and then when I post and reread what I said it triggers another thought building off of that one and it keeps going.
I feel like I’d lose a lot of organic thought mojo if I tried to slow down and only let myself post every so often so that I had “thought of everything” before I let myself post/respond to something.
Feel like a post cap would make it way easier to play scum though lol.
Things got harsher since then. This is why I was still here 1 year ago.
It's not as sustainable as before to keep track with games. The average was maybe 3/4K posts per game, now it's more than doubled. I would certainly burn myself way more if I played again, no way I would post that much anymore. My average was never massive in this section compared to some users anyway, I recall I posted like 7K in over 1 year.
That's exactly what I'm doing and it's not sustainable to keep track of the games the way they have become hence I started this quest for change but it failed miserably.
I bet that if games were shorter and less confusing but still enthralling you would have been able to join way more games just like me, this is probably a fact.
My schedule as computer engineering student dictates that I have to study around 6 hours a day at least and that is not compatible with a current role madness for the way it is inputed.

It has nothing to do with the number of posts lel. I love long games. And I don't mind people talking off topic either cuz I do the same. If I sign up for a game, then I like to focus on it. Especially as scum. The way school is rn, I can't play the way I'd like to.

spamming thoughts is what pm's are for haha, once uve collected ur thoughts u can post some of that in thread, at least thats my approach (as u saw in my role pm)
>hey Tris, didn't you stop playing Mafia?
>eh for the time being, yes
>I bet if [insert argument here] happened, you'd be able to play, just like me!
>no not really
