I could never fast. I could diet and control how much I eat, but not fast. I'm too hungry sometimes, man, it's torture.
I ate some chicken nuggets and coffee in the morning, was ~400-500 calories. That kept me going till 5:30.

But today was a more lax day. Past few days I’ve had nothing but a sugar free coffee for breakfast and then a protein shake for lunch.

I think doing that has really helped me eat less.

Were those the only two things that you ate for the day or did you manage to grab dinner too?

I wouldn’t recommend you to do this daily . Your body actually has went to starvation mode that’s why you are no longer hungry .

I would suggest you to consult dietician to optimise your food intake also I would suggest you to do HIIT to burn the calories .

I had dinner. It wasn’t very healthy. The synagogue I go to has a free snack bar. They have cake, chips, guacamole, cheese, etc.

That’s one of the few social events I attend in the week, so I didn’t really feel like dieting that evening.

In any case tho I lost a pound that day so I think I’m probably doing alright.

I try to moderate my calorie deficit so that I don’t lose more than 3 pounds a week. Tho usually I feel like I have been losing 1 lb on average.

Some weeks I even plateau, but I have still had a significant monthly weight drop for the past few months. Think I’ll keep doing that till summer of 2025.

Thanks to my knee injury i haven't been able to do kickboxing all summer or run and my weight loss has plateud. I still lift consistently and do whatever cardio i can but i'm gonna be a little more strict on the diet this month to drop these last few ponds.
I'm currently 83-82 kg but i would wanna be 79-78 ideally.
Are you able to do leg day? Hope your knee is soon fixed.

Thank you
Yeah, i don't do squats and leg press because i don't want to put too much weight on the knee yet but i do other stuff for the legs. The doctor specifically told me that strengthening the legs can help with the recovery.
Yeah same, I had knee pain from being heavy and having a bad form when getting up from kneeling in my job and my doctor friend told me to strenghten the quadriceps.

Made the comment in the General Discussions thread but I'm going to start running on the treadmill again.

Made 6 miles yesterday before stopping.

Always room for improvement.

Going to try running again today.
Ate something awkward the day before and it got me sick :(
Will post results of the run here tonight, if not tomorrow morning.

I did a couple of other runs after that one but breaking the thousand calorie mark is still tough.

There's still room for improvement though since cutting 5 to 10 minutes in a 100 min. run can usually be done by running at a steady pace for a bit longer before stopping for a break.

Some speedrunning never hurts though, running 1 or 2 miles for time and then attempting to reduce the time it takes to run those distances.

So I decided to cut some weight a month ago after a somewhat long bulk, to make it managable mentally I decided to do intermittent fasting with an 8 hour window, on most days my plan was to hit 2 meals. To break my fast I'd definitely avoid shitty meals so I started eating clean by default, and I enjoyed the meals more than I imagined, eventually I cut down carbs completely.
For around a month I only ate red meat, mostly steaks or some burgers occasionally, for the first meal, and the second was a dozen eggs more or less with shit loads of butter, basically 16 hour fast carnivore bulk. On some days I'd also hit the gym (resistance training only) while fasted

The results are honestly insane, my bodyfat melted like butter, and I put on considerable muscle for such a short period, legit thought someone snuck some gear into my food.
And I got a shit ton stronger too which is cool

I've been way fitter in the past but since the New Year, ive gotten back to swimming. Been spending 1 hr at the pool, 3/4 days a week. Feels like therapy for my body/mind tbh lol, wanna keep continuing it throughout the year.
Ditched swimming for the gym, but kept up with the diet.
Down to 72 Kgs / 15% bf @ 175 cms.

Wanna cut down all the way to 6-8 % bf, so gotta keep up the grind.
