So are we about to get Tou vs Riboku and Shibashou? I would assume Ousen and Yotanwa will also be involved, but man. I feel like once again Qin just has the odds stacked against them.

I think it's going to be a multiple front war as Riboku and Shibashou are going to appear in Hango (extreme north of the Zhao) while Tou is stationed at southern side (towards Wei).

Seeing Tou being here, there's a huge possibility that Hara might me be skipping the further drama of Qin/Han and most probably be directly going for Zhao/Han/Wei coalition against Qin.

Coz in that coalition war Qin lost too many soldiers and Hara wrote in the end of chapter 768 that Qin going to suffer too many casualties in this war.

Hmmm, if Hara really is planning Tou vs Riboku, then Shibashou really would be like the new Houken for that battle.

And if that’s the case, I wonder if Hara plans to have Tou and Shibashou fight a big duel. Obviously Tou and Shibashou don’t have the history that Houken and Ouki had (probably), but having Tou fight Shibashou would be more about Tou’s character arc of facing the exact same scenario that killed Ouki, Riboku hiding behind a martial monster and masterminding Ouki’s death. Similarly Riboku would hide behind Shibashou to defeat Tou.

And if THAT’s the case, I really worry about Shibashou getting the new Houken treatment of Hara making it look like Tou would have beaten him if not for whatever kind of interference.

Hara has hyped Shibashou for 200+ chapters at this point, but Hara has hyped the secret unknown strength of Tou for much longer.

Hmmm, I don’t see a Tou vs Shibashou looking good for Shibashou narratively speaking. A lot of Houken’s future showings were forever stained by his duel with Ouki.
