Honestly, beside the fact that we are not on the same political side or the same page, especially on gender issue, I can hardly tell where you are.
Anyway.. I have compensated too much my lack of relationships with this forum, but I can't take it anymore. This place is too toxic and it transformed me too much.

@Logiko Not gonna lie, I respect your ability to grind posts out, even if attempting to digest all the information you provide can sometimes be exhausting.
You and I may sit on opposite sides of the political spectrum, but taking the time to read and research instead of resorting to basic responses in this thread has been a mentally stimulating experience.
I’ll also give you credit for not resorting to defamation against anyone here (including me), even those who may have seriously gotten on your nerves. That level of restraint deserves some respect, at least.

I myself come to troll and do silly banter and make some posts on one piece and deliberately avoid heated arguments as it affects mental peace and focus in real lives.
And, logiko - he seeks such arguments.
And, let's be frank - intent of logiko is good. Perhaps his heart is in right place as well. It's the tone and labelling through words he uses against those who has different opinions which is what so many don't like.
It's not his knowledge which people actually doubt.
It's his attitude towards people with different opinions which is what makes people go after him so much.
From the very beginning it was simply his attitude and argumentation. In the nakama thread, he kept saying everyone else was too bias to the see the clear story of Carrot being a SH or important character, and kept bringing in real world politics to explain away people not seeing the story the way he did, all the while bragging about his story telling knowledge.
With politics in general, he keeps insinuating that people who disagree with him are morally inferior, too bias, or too uneducated to see the world the way he does.
We get it...you like Carrot, you want the world to be a better place yada Yada Yada, but why constantly talk down other's interests and opinions as misguided or compromised and think all fault falls on them? Obviously people across the board would turn against him.

It's not the debate itself - it's that these topics are sensitive and triggers people. And, it becomes major problem if one is short tempered and resort to throwing insults - either directly or in form of bettlitling someone's knowledge or labelling them.
I will be blunt - people who resorts to insults - it reflects more about them than the other people. It reflects their insecurities.
Logiko keeps on saying "this place is toxic" but he himself contributes to it through his attitude by belittling other people knowledge, imposing his views and with that "I know it all" condescending tone while labelling them with some defamatory words like calling people sexist during carrot arguments.
You, me and many are here since it's foundation. We were part of OJ. We all had our fair deal of arguments, insults, trolls.
Yet, we all gel up. We all go at each other yet at the end we all can still share some bond.
