Which is just a way to show apolitism (and rightism by extention). Humor is an attack process. This means that attacking oppressed and oppressors equally shows that one consider them to be equal on the political balance and that they therefore deserved to be laughed at in the same way.

Just like stories, humor is an one of the biggest political tool that exist in the entertainment industry. Treating the two sides of the balance equally is a political act.

No, humor can be as leftist as it gets. it can be completely progressive.

But yes, humor - unless you are talking about random slice of life subject like the the amount of shampoo you put on your hair - is a process of attacks, ranging from little kindhearthed remarks to straight up denonciations. Humor without this process doesn't really exist. There is also the kind of attacks that are directed toward the humorist themself)

If that's the case, then the guy do not treat the oppressed and the oppressors the same way. In the case where said person is aware of oppressions and therefore the impact humor can have on those oppressions, said person will necessaraly create an inequality in term of treatment.

Which is something I didn't talk about being : those who are related to a specific oppression have a legitimity that others don't.

So yeah, this guy is legitimate to talk about the subject even tho it has to be done correctly. Tho being someone related to an oppression doesn't give you an green card to be a jerk against others who don't have your chance (because lets not forget that not everyone has the priviledge to fill up entire theatres.
