American evangelicals see Trump as ordained by god whether he himself is a Christian. The churches are engaged in politics. Yes, Christian ideals support a general worldview that women should be subservient, and though its crass most Christian trumpers believe the fault lies with the whores rather than with him, because they’re experts at believing obvious lies.
