Democrats might think this is good for the midterms, which it might very well be. But don’t forget we’re destroying countless lives and a big chunk of the social safety net in the process. People will die, and lives will be ruined. We need a Democratic Party that actively pushes back against this nonsense, not one who waits for republicans to destroy everything so they can get back in power.
I love constantly getting texts that say shit like “We have to STOP the right from destroying every single institution; donate $20 right now to show YOU care about democracy” Maybe I would give to the cause if you did a single God damn thing to push back on these conservative cocksuckers??
