You are true but you have it and awaken at some point of time or you don't. As simple as that.
Now using CoC coating without knowing basics is asspull....but in the first place, Koby didn't use CoC coating...it is just armament....remember how Luffy vs Katakuri fight went with sparks from their hands....there is no CoC trail.....

Koby may awaken in the future but not now...

Now, coming to thread...it is CoA/case closed...
And again with this "gifted" and "non-gifted" nonsense...

I still think that aCoA is what Coby used on HI since the chapter told about Coby training himself while CoC isnt a thing to be trained from Rayleigh Statement.

One piece is about achieving dreams irrespective of identity...inherited will is a recurring theme since the beginning of the show...chosen one should be Ace because he was a Roger Son...Garp is a marine and Dragon is a revoltionary and Luffy is a pirate...they chose their path...neither of them taught anything to Luffy...

  • Meanwhile Zoro's dream is to be WSS, which is about avoiding challenges as much as possible and taking shortcuts with magical swords:

Koby is what Zoro fans always want to claim that Zoro is- a nobody that rose to the top only through sheer hard work

Hey bitch, Zoro got acoc in a battle with a yc1+ blade that literally killed him and interfered during this battle. He was beaten by top yc1 king and Enma drying his hand and pulling a ton of haki into nowhere. This is literally the hardest acoc mining in the series. This so-called "magic sword" did nothing but interfere with the whole fight and is a weaker blade than shusui.
