Anime & Manga How did Sanji fans cope with the fact Zoro has kingly ambitions?

#41
Do you understand the scope of what ambitions of the supreme king/conqueror means? It goes far beyond the desire to find a fish pond and defending himself against scrubs.

He hid his face to protect his family. As a child he didn't give a shit, until his sibling was attacked because of it. He wanted to be strong for his family. He had kingly ambitions as he was always the one to take charge, even Big Mom felt threatened by Katakuri just interfering with her fights, hence telling him to stay back since he is "just" her son.
Oden just wanted to leave home… how’s this beyond wanting to find a mythical ocean despite the ridicule he faced for it?

And by your logic he “gave up on his dream” when he abandoned whitebeards challenge to save Toki.
Because a true king can put his ambition aside for a greater good (which is not saving his own ass). Like Luffy bowing down to Hancock to save her subordinates, or Oden bowing down to Whitebeard, or Roger bowing down to Whitebeard, just as Zoro bowing down to Mihawk, with Mihawk acknowledging he does it for greater good.

Oh like Sanji foregoing his ambition to repay the life debt he owed to Zeff? Good point!!

Or Sanji bowing down to Zeff and putting his debt above his ambition. Nice comprison

He never threw it away clown. He always was planning to go at some point
Yup because Sanji brought up his dream of finding the all blue to Luffy before he decided to leave Baratie because he threw it away and not put it aside. Cmon man I know you can bring better points than this
1. Didn't Jeff literally have to kick Sanji out so he finally pursues his dream?
2. How is finding a sea with ingredients for cooking = kingly ambition? So now everyone with a dream (basically every straw hat) is a conqueror? Having the color of the supreme King indicates a different level of ambition.

Nami also sacrificed herself for her village. Now she too a king? Cmon.

1.) No...Sanji saw how important it was for Zeff to see him pursue his dream. But thats besides the point because Sanji never threw away his dream. He was planning to go in the future, not at that current time.

2.) No it doesnt. Not everyone with CoC has a kingly ambition. WB's only ambition was to have a familiy and he has CoC.

1. No he didn’t. Sanji knew that they were lying to make him leave. Sanji left for his own drea.
2. Sanjis dream is a treasure that is legendary and mythical. He got made fun of for having this ambition but he still believed in it. Sanji and Zoros dreams are designed to foil Luffys where Sanji And Luffy are searching for a mythical treasure but Zoro and Luffy are searching To acquire a title of power.

Also, dreams don’t distinguish conquerors from non conquerors. Willpower does. By your logic of dreams = CoC then Krieg , Crocodile, Tashigi, and the fodder Okama from Marineford also should have CoC. But they don’t despite sharing the same dream as Luffy and Zoro.

Manga is filled with failed kings, but Zoro is the only cheater king.

Zoro had to get his coc drawn out by a "cursed blade" not by his own strength and ability.

Zoro will never be able to overcome his embaressment, even if he beats the WSS who is barely above a YC1 and who struggled with Vista who is YC5.

:saden:

Sanji is actual Royalty and is in fact more kingly than Zoro, that's just a fact.

Pretty sure there's plenty of panels to show that Sanji have "kingly ambitions"......... But y'all know, Anti-Sanji Pirates can't breathe without bashing on Sanji.
