What do you mean by "stuff going on with them"? Because I've told you that they don't ever talk about their pasts or even general emoting states at any single time.

Which is something I've found weird for a while now. I am not surprised Luffy didn't bother to drag such information out of Zoro when they met. But I'm surprised its never come up in the manga itelf after all these years. It would make for great character interaction

It seems you are forgetting a lot of shit dawg. Most of the actual interactions they had were them talking about the plot or goofing off or making plans or commenting about something they've witnessed.

But this is also something thats been lacking for a few years now ^^ We don't see many of the characters interact with each other nearly as much as I think they did before. And this thread is about what we think would make Zoro a better character, and I still agree with @TheAncientCenturion 's post on what would make Zoro more interesting

Well then Zoro isn't just gonna become the guy who shares his life story ever since first of all, he's too stoic for that and second and MOST IMPORTANTLY, NO ONE ELSE DOES THAT. LITERALLY NO ONE. THERE ARE ENTIRE ARCS WRITTEN AROUND THIS LIKE WCI WITH SANJI. NO ONE WILL OR HAS EVER BEEN WRITTEN LIKE THIS AND IT'S ENTIRE SINGLE-MINDEDLY RIDICULOUS FOR ZORO TO TAKE THE BRUNT OF ODA'S ENTIRE WRITING STYLE.

A quick look through the first two volumes of Wano reveals that claims that "Zoro doesn't smile anymore" are, in fact, bullshit

So IF this SBS exists then it directly contradicts things in the actual manga and so I will take the manga over the SBS ANY FUCK IN DAY.

So you'll have to give me the SBS first and then I will say its wrong since I have manga proof that it's wrong.

Zoro is extremely boring, like I honestly can't think of anything interesting he's done besides saying (bad)One Liners, not including anything that involves strength. And to say he's like this because of what happened with Kuma and Kizaru is pure headcannon lol

I do think he's good and I also think he can be improved but No pointing in saying things that literally can never happen.

It's like me saying I would want to see a romantic subplot between the strawhats since that makes sense given their ages and nothing about their sexualities has been shown to prevent compatibility.

Of course this could result in supposed character growth and depth AND YET IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN EVER. That's not how Oda writes these characters and he never will.

So such "suggestions" are purely fanfic territory and nothing more
