unlikely, if BB comes to Wano, then he also has a chance to kill a bad shape Luffy after that, which is really bad to the plot either for Luffy, SH, Wano and the alliance.

There's only one rather consistent scenario in which ZKK doesn't happen and that is Teach stealing the kill. But that would look extremely contrived by Oda, any other scenario such as Zoro not being convinced anymore would be outright ridiculous also because Kaido should prefer to reach what he labeled as perfection rather than preferring life imprisonment.
