Questions & Mysteries Is fighting Akainu a downgrade now?

#21
It's a huge step back, because Egghead proved that an admiral poses no threat to Luffy, and Kizaru is comparable to Akainu, so if Akainu is only slightly stronger, that barely matters. Not to mention Luffy fought Kizaru and Saturn at the same time and suffered no consequences from it, dominating both of them. So it doesn't matter if Akainu is a bit stronger than Kizaru or not.
True, perhaps someone help Red Dog against Luffy similar to Kizaru+Saturn vs Luffy fight.

Ragnir is > Harald according to…. Harald
Harald=Xebec
Ragnir>Harald and Xebec>>
Base Loki without DF and Ragnir>Ragnir>Harald and Xebec
DF Loki w Ragnir>HK Harald>>>>>Abyss>>>>>Old Gen
If Shanks stopped Loki, it means that he is atleast = DF Ragnir Loki
Which means that Mihawk is also = DF Ragnir Loki
Kaido sees Shanks as equal, but according to this Power Scaling, Kaido would be fodder to Shanks, and all the old gen which Shanks came from would also be less than fodders.
:milaugh::milaugh::suresure:

But If you choose that Shanks DIDNT defeat Loki and that he is way below DF Ragnir Loki, you have an admiral that choked to just one ACoC attack, so Admirals are actually fodder in front of DF Ragnir Loki, not only but also Mihawk, which is the endgame battle for Zoro, so a fodder is Zoro's endgame battle.
:suresure:

You see how both of options dont fit at all, they just crumble all the narrative, and power scaling-wise its completely nonsense tbh.

Kaido was fodder to Shanks the moment it was revealed he’d never been trying to get the One Piece

The equal of Teach's subordinate Aokiji cannot be a main antagonist after Imu. I also see Dragon as a good fit to fighting Akainu. For Sabo it would be too tricky given Akainu's DF is of a higher order, on the other hand, Akainu is the strongest weapon of the WG's "outer" face, likewise Dragon, who was unaware of the WG's depth (Imu ruling from the shadows), would be best fit eliminating said WG's outer face to at least contribute something.
