Controversial Is it bad to be a virgin into your late 20s?

I just don’t think a lot of guys really fathom the amount of work they need to put in to get what they want.

like using the employment analogy. It took me several months and probably hundreds of applications to find a job. I also needed to go through dozens of interviews, most of which went nowhere.

A lot of guy’s probably get rejected once or twice and it hurts their ego so bad that they just give up instead of pushing through failure to achieve their goals.
hum? Most of my relationships happened with no effort at all. I just met the girl and boom we are dating :)

For real, all that pick up artist stuff is BS. Just meet people and things will happen. I don't recommend anyone training themselves into being manipulative to get a GF.
Right and honestly, someone concerned with being a virgin or not should know that pretty much everything is better about the experience with an actual relationship instead of someone you just "want to have sex with." Genuine people ftw

I didn't think you were so young @Monkey D Theories.

It's not a big deal, if I could hold onto my virginity until I met finance I would.

Sex without meaning is frivolous. Sure it can be fun but without meaning it's whatever, something so intimate is nice to hold onto for someone you care for instead of just handing it out for free to any person.

Apparently the average person looses their virginity at a relatively young age.

I’m about 23, which is definitely on the older side.

I don’t think I would have an issue getting a girlfriend or having sex if I wanted to. A while back I downloaded Hinge just for fun and I was able to get a few matches within a day.

The thing is, I feel like there’s a very specific thing I want in life and I don’t want to derail my goals just for the sake of another person.

I’d like to get my masters degree
Work out and lose weight
Move somewhere up north, like New York City or Boston

Feel like only once I get what I want, will I be okay with settling down and getting married. Only then would it really make sense for me to start seriously dating people.

I feel like it’s so odd. Because if you ever go on subreddits like r/foreveralone or you listen to incels, they always talk about how miserable and humiliating it is to be a virgin in your 20s.

But idk it just seems silly. Most of my friends ended up losing their virginities in failed relationships. I just can’t see how that’s desirable.
Winning at life is more important than shoving a dick up a pussy. Its all dopamine, serotonin, adrenaline at play. Get a great job, find someone you can love, marry her, have kids, take care of them. Love your parents. Life isnt only about getting laid.

So many ppl in my country still virgin at late 20's or even 30's.....
It depends on society and country...
Through religious teachings and other we have **** only after marriage with one and only our partner(although quite several ppl doesn't care or ignore such due to temptation)
In other countries like maybe US, Brazil and Europe etc, virgin at late 20's would be the rare ones.

But one thing is that........It doesn't matter whether you're still virgin even at 30.......having good and healthy life while choosing your one and only perfect soulmates for rest of your life is better than having countless **** with bitches at young age....

People lose their virginity pretty early in Brazil. Where are you from?

There's also a big difference between someone who chooses not to get laid and someone who fails at it. Not that we should chastise the later anyway.

Your post suggests you choose not to get a girl, so why should you need anyone to validate your choice?
sus, though

Do you postpone a lot of things? Like working out?
I wouldn't download Grindr just for fun.

Then again, there's nothing wrong with losing your virginity in failed relationships either. Nobody walks into a relationship expecting it to fail. Nor into a marriage.

I wouldn't say you absolutely need a woman, in terms of wanting to start a family and pass on your genes then yeah a woman would be useful, but having a woman isn't really vital to your own health and life imo

Which is a excuse to have sex cus in order to get kids of your own you gotta do that people just make rules for sex so they can think they better than others yes i get you gotta be careful of STD but at the end of day you be in the same sex position like them and agree on your last point if you not into sex don't have it all not instead "I just wanting for the right one to have my thing touch so I can love her like a "slut" or be a "slut" that the pure way to do it" 🙄

No, it is not! My wife was also virgin when I met her. We met at an university at a postgraduation course and we both were 27 years old. We live happily with our little daughter today

Waiting to the right time and person and properly build a intimate relation based around love will fullfill your life someday
And you believe her? Did she know what she was doing at the beginning? Or this really a make up story to act like it exist for confidence purposes? Lol
