Just because Sanji isn't getting the same treatment as Zoro doesn't mean that he's being left behind...
We have to remember that Zoro's end game is far different from Sanji's... Like Luffy, Zoro's end game concerns being "the best"... Sanji's role and dream is more of a profession thing (similar to Chopper's whom we don't see fighting that much as well nowadays)... It's not fair to compare Sanji's development based from Zoro's...
Besides, Oda is just reminding us that Luffy and Zoro really are on another level and now that Jinbe is here, Sanji will most likely be on his level, if we base it on how Oda portrayed Sanji and Jinbe so far...
We are at Wano, the parallel of Roger and Oden, the significance of the Dawn (Joy Boy?) and the Hero (Ryuma), are likely being pushed to Luffy and Zoro...
But that doesn't mean that Sanji and Jinbe are left behind... I believe they are set up to fight King and Queen... It's just that Marco needs to do the role that Black Maria and Who's Who are doing right now...
No SHs should be left behind in this arc... Sanji is fine, no need to worry about him... If we have to worry, it has to be about Robin and Chopper...
Considering Oda basically dedicated an entire arc to giving Sanji a power-up, that would be a no. I don't understand how all you guys see is Big Mom and Kaido. King and Queen are still very much in this fight, and it would be absolutely idiotic if all the best fighters of the Straw Hats were up on the roof top fighting against Kaido and Big Mom, while leaving all the weaker members of the crew and alliance down stairs to deal with two characters who are leagues above them. Even with Marco there, there is no way he can deal with King and Queen on his own for an extended period of time. This will be another classic case of Sanji swooping in, and saving the weaker members of the crew, like Oda always has him do. Sanji wasn't kept from the roof top because he is too weak, he was kept from the roof top because they needed someone strong down below.
I didn't forget Drake... At the end of the day he's not a Straw Hat pirate though, and he's already pretty beat up to begin with. Plus someone still needs to deal with Hawkins, another Worst Gen member, who was there when Drake was lured into a trap....
Why oda didn't even let sanji help marco against calamities in chapter 1000. Wouldn't you fans love to see sanji doing so in such big milestone chapter?
But oda didn't do that. I am damn sure getting trapped with Black Maria is just oda's way to divert sanji from not helping marco.
And, this isn't the first time. This trend has become more apparent since Time skip and since we entered into yonkou saga
We can argue against the trend but it's basically our wishes
Most probably. I really used to and still think that they were about equal until the timeskip. Like if Zoro was a 100, Sanjii was 99/98. But now, Oda has been focusing less of Sanji strength-wise. This is not to say that he has been focusing on Zoro a lot more but it's just that his portrayal has strengthened further. Especially after his training with Mihawk. Still, I don't think that Zoro is as much stronger than Sanji as most Zoro stans here think.
My current ranking is- Luffy 100, Zoro 90, Sanji 80 or something around that. But I'll finalize it only after Wano is over as currently, we don't have a lot to compare them other than portrayal and this raid will give us a lot of feats for both characters.

Because he wants to continue that bullshit Black Maria subplot for a bit longer. I wonder who even likes such moments other than extreme Sanji-haters. The Japanese audience is weird af sometimes.
That's headcannon and goes totally against what we are certain right now.
Zoro fighting kaido. That's done deal. You can argue whatever you want but evidences are too strong in this favor which we have consistently put forward and you all brushed aside but oda is delivering on it
Oda is just giving better fights to combat-focused characters that have strength related goals.
Sanjino will get his fight, whatever that is but he is not in the league of the big 5 on the dome.
He is simply ineffective in fighting against the two toughest individuals in the world.
We had no prior concrete evidence of queen being cyborg for sure.
Sanji could have stepped in to stop queen in chapter 1000.
Marco could have handles king while takin zoro to the roof.
But what we got is sanji getting occupied with Black Maria while Marco handling both YCs.

My arguments have always been that Zoro will fight King and also open Kaido's scar.
This chapter is not some revelation, it's just running it's course in that direction.
Zoro and Sanji will likely begin their fights with King and Queen about at the same time, and Oda wanted to have this Auction Captains + their First Mates vs Yonko spread go down in chapter 1000, so he set up the Black Maria delay plot for Sanji in the meantime.

And the culmination of Zoro targeting Kaido will be him opening the scar he got from Oden.
Oda will shuffle things into place so that he fights King and does that by the end of the arc.
We're of a flying island against characters that can fly around or launch you across islands, just because some characters have stacked up at one place at some point it does not meant that they are stuck there until the end of the arc.
He is below Zoro many levels but still levels above Sanji.
That's the type of gap that exists between Zoro and Sanji.
I have been telling it since ages but you didnt want to believe.
Doriki has created one big illusion which now makes you suffer.
