Look i always liked Sukuna more than Gojo as a character. But it is crazy to say Gege didnt give Sukuna some MAJOR plot armor

Hell you said yourself, Gojo could have killed him when he had 15 fingers but he didnt, Gege wanted 20 fingers vs Gojo so he spared Sukuna for plot.

Sukuna needed EVERYTHING to fall just right so he can kill Gojo and that happened
