He won't die.
This is his dream, his daughter is literally involved in the conflict.
This follows the tale of Momotaro and there is a reason Wano is the country with more knowledge about sea stones.
He will be imprisoned and won't be able to do shit just like Big Mom couldn't and like in the tale of Momotaro he will be working in Udon for the rest of his life not having his glorious death.

kaidos first introduction literally proved he cant be held in prison or he cant be killed. yonkos or he is not the type who gets KO by Fist of Fodder(luffy)

The great deaths like Roger's, WB's and Oden's either change the world or save someone's life.
Kaido's death will no achieve any of those because he is selfish and nobody really cares for him.

Lemme get this straight,
The whole theme of Wano, is Death
Literally the first introduction of Kaidou, Oda emphasized on him wanting to DIE
The Scabbards, want him DEAD. They even emphasized that the WAR WON'T BE WON BEFORE CUTTING HIS HEAD OFF
Like every 2 lines that comes out of Kaidou's mouth, he talks about DEATH.
Yasuie emphasized that in 20 years, no one HAS TAKEN KAIDOU'S HEAD
Oden wanted to cut off Kaidou's Head
Even the fucking Fire Festival, is for the DEAD
But people somehow still think Kaidou is just your generic OP villian who will be beaten up and locked up? Like bruh :kriwhat:
Man even that Yamato's line about driving him off Wano that you guys were so eager to jump on, Oda immediately shut it down in the very next panel by having Kaidou himself saying that "I will stay in Wano, and Wano is special". But but Kaidou won't return to Wano because he's kicked out

One thing is certain, Kaido is losing his head in this arc. He will be defeated then killed.

And there no best candidate to do that except "Zoro"

This chapter confirms again that Kaido will get killed. He will not leave Wano because he considers it special. Also, the author clearly indicated over and over that Kaido needs to be "beheaded" and "killed". However, with Crocodile, Doffy, Moria, Wapol and the other villain, the author indicated that these enemies need to be ''defeated'' ''kicked out of the country'' and ''getting their ass kicked.''
Luffy will beat Kaido but he will not kill him because Luffy is not a killer. Someone else will, and the best candidate to do that is Zoro.

When Luffy beats Kaido 1vs1 and they beat Kaido's crew:

Onigashima project, 20 years in the making, destroyed and made unviable.
Luffy now stronger than Kaido and growing stronger every day "becoming Joyboy", with a stronger crew, stronger fleet and actual competence in navigating and obtaining/decoding poneglyphs.

So much for "doing nothing"... Good luck to Kaido skulking around and trying to becoming PK after that.:moonwalk:

Kaido escapes Jail is a normal Tuesday for him. He can just go back.
