Character Discussion Kizaru turned out to be trash character.

It feels like Future Sight will no longer be a thing in the OP Universe moving forward honestly. Almost no one who is top tier uses it, it’s not just Kizaru. Not Saturn, not Kaido, not BM, not Law, not Kidd, no one. Gear 5 is too overpowered for it to even matter anymore.

This guy dont have problems trying to kill 12 years old girl . He doesnt have problem killing his friends ( Vegapunk , Kuma ,Sentomaru too ). All those times he spent with them laughing , dancing , eating means nothing to him..
And? You have moral objections with an antagonist in a fictoinal story? Okay? I don't see how you could read this arc and say Kizaru has no problem with his mission. Just ignoring Oda's words at this point.

- no future sight ( kinda expected this from person who is all about speed )
Blocking, parrying, and blitzing Snake-Man with no difficulty is enough evidence that he has future sight. Both Katakuri and Kaido had to use future sight to keep up with its speed.

The other points are whatever, he's performed as well as any 3 billion beri intermediate level character would perform. Can't be bested by mere commanders, but still weaker than Yonko. yada yada blah blah blah.

Were you people this reactionary when Big Mom was getting dog walked by Franky & Robin, or Kaido screeching and bleeding gallons of blood everytime a Caribou level scabbard breathes on him?

Yeah it's pretty weird because before Egghead it was accepted the admirals had Future sight by their fanboys as a fact.

Now many are willing to debate it.

And of course. They clearly don't have CoC.

Kizaru is such a letdown mainly as person but in power too.

This guy dont have problems trying to kill 12 years old girl . He doesnt have problem killing his friends ( Vegapunk , Kuma ,Sentomaru too ). All those times he spent with them laughing , dancing , eating means nothing to him.

I know some members troll admirals when saying they are Celestial dragons dogs but in Kizaru case its actually true.

People argue how ruthless Akainu is yet even AKainu could not kill Aokiji after defeating him in their duel , yet Kizaru is worse than Akainu its clear now.

Also about his power .

- no future sight ( kinda expected this from person who is all about speed )
- no awakening ( huge letdown )
- no acoc ( didnt expect this but still )
- piss poor attack power on top all those powers he is lacking

The hype is over , Kizaru is garbage he deserves defeat based on everything shown so far.
His fans were annoying ASF too with the "Kizaru for straw hat" meme

Personally cant judge until the arcs end because Oda has this tendency to flip flop characters on a dime based on the chapter.

A good example is King, so many people didnt think Zoro would fight him, then lo and behold 1027 happens and we get a partial mask reveal and him nearly throwing Zoro off Onigashima and he starts to look super formidable.

I still have confidence that Kizaru has more up his sleeve and its just Oda stalling and waiting for the right moment.

Do people not realize that it’s even crazier for a non-future sight user to easily match and blitz one of the best users?
:luuh:
Saying that Kizaru doesn’t have future sight just embarrasses the known future sight users.
That makes sense but still we need direct confirmation before giving people free powers.

I expected and hoped for Kizaru to have some hearth and try at least to save Vegapunk somewhat yet it didn't happen. It is a bit the same thing for Aokiji and Garp with the difference that maybe Aokiji saved Garp by freezing him (we will have to wait). Also to get some character development, the only saving could be some solid reason on why he (and the other admirals) are so loyal to the WG to the point of sacrificing their everything. Anyway saying he is a trash character is too much, he is despised or even hated because he killed Vegapunk now and that is good since he is a villain (he could also have a redemption in his final moments if he dies, a bit like Snape in Harry Potter).

Lol hard disagree, Kizaru is Oda's take on the "just following orders" mindset. Kizaru does NOT want to do any of this at egghead, he still stabs his closest friend in the back (literally) because he was ordered to.

He's still an antagonist, he's still a member of the marines and has had no problem carrying out the dirty work of the CDs in the past.

Him showing conflict but still choosing the wrong path is way more interesting than him just changing sides on a whim. If he does end up redeeming himself it will make his redemption more interesting as well.

It's because he based on a character from a japanese Yakuza movie that's very loyal to the Yakuza.
Kizaru defined by his loyalty, while Kuzan, Garp or Sakazuki would allow their personal feelings to interfere with their sense of duty Kizaru will carry out his mission to the letter even if he find it painful.
He's a good character even if he's loyal to a fault.

Kizaru is the L Drake of his generation

The only strong admirals are the Fleet Admiral candidates.

Garp and Sengoku in the old gen, as hyped by Roger. Akainu and Kuzan in the mid gen, as evident by the destruction they caused to Punk Hazard. Probably Smoker and Koby of the new gen.

No real admirals fans wanted that shit to happen. Kizaru work for the WG since decades he's not going to switch side out of nowhere.
How many saw the plot twist with bbp and kuzan happening? :kata:
