luffy that lost to kaido is different from the current luffy no one cares about the amount of time luffy lost in his journey that is in the past g5luffy beat kaido but kidd and law barely defeated (without the bombs they wont have won) the now generally agreed on weakest bonafide top tier while luffy defeated the currently known strongest

Chapter 1039 Both Law and Kid have demonstrated that they can fight Big Mom individually.
Kid was 1vs1 using his awakening + mechanical bull and managing to outmaneuver and damage her
Then Law also attacked her individually with tact + puncture wille.
Dumned punk was also used in a 1vs1 situation.
Both Kid and Law finished the fight showing that they could individually fight berseker Big Mom (full 3 homies too), and avoid her mansherry finishing attack, which is why I say they can give a high difficulty fight to any top tier.

They defeated Big Mom the same way Supernova Four were gonna defeat her on the Roof, if not for Kaidou's Help
The only difference is that Law & Kid managed to make her more Serious & reveal more of her Techniques
Oda literally prepared you for her defeat with that Roof Fall, showing that Big Mom can be defeated with a perfectly coordinated team-play
But it was never ever implied that Kid & Law are close to her Level
You think Big Mom can overpower Two Top Tiers in a Direct Confrontation while their Subordinates beg her to stop & then she gives them her back & leaves out of mercy
Be realistic please
Even during Dressrosa Arc, i've hyped Law as someone stronger than many Commanders & far far away from Veterans
So i know his worth & same for Kid, but i'm not gonna exaggerate & claim they are no different than other Top Tiers just because they managed to pull a perfect Team-Play

1- Kid and Law already started the fight already injured because they had already taken damage in the fight on the roof.
2- Kid and Law at the beginning of the fight, were still too weak to face Big Mom, so they also took a ton of damage because they were still weak.
