Short Hair Nami > long hair

For Neijire I don’t know long hair wasn’t bad on her

But Koichi and KD relationship was great, and Koichi quirk is one of my fav, amazing mobility/versatility
Both versions of Nami are equally hot to me I don't mind either. I thought I wouldn't have liked short haired Nejire as much as long haired Nejire but after reading the chapter again a few times I really started liking it (kinda shocked she had 0 scars from Dabi though)

Anyone else hoping Dabi gets a powerup or some kind? At this point, I am only really reading BNHA for the Todorokis but I feel like the final fight with Dabi is going to be pretty shitty if hes just gonna stay with his fire powers that can never be shown to be effective
Dabi's firepower is supposed to be on the same level of Endeavours, but considering how he can't even burn to death a guy literally made of wood, it doesn't really feel like it.

I think its supposed to be above Endeavours, but thats the problem with fire powers in manga (aka Katon being useless in Naruto). Unless the opponent has some kind of defense hax, fire powers are basically not allowed to be impressive. It either misses or the recipient gets off with some light burn marks when they really should be a burnt corpse after getting being engulfed in a massive fireball.

Dabi is basically only allowed to hurt himself with his fire powers.

I'm amazed Hori didn't create some fodder heroes for Dabi to look good against.

It would be the easiest thing in the world just to have Dabi disintegrate some nobody heroes to show off how strong he is.

He did killed off that one sand fodder hero, but even then he had help from Compress:suresure:

He also had arguably the worst showing of the main baddies in the Meta Liberation Army where everyone cept like Spinner got power-ups. His perceived threat level is honestly kind of crap for one of the guaranteed final villains.

What sand fodder?

Is anybody else bummed out with how MHA is going?

The way the story has been going ever since Best Jeanist / Lemillion came in at the final moments of the war, the story feels completely lost and out of control.

And now with Horikoshi saying he is gonna end it in 2022, feels really fucking rushed.

This series had so much potential.

:ronalugh:

I wanted to see 1-A grow up, go past the 3 years, graduate, become full on heroes, fight newer villains.

But instead we get a rushed story in a single year of the universe, with a bunch 1st year students being better than most pro heroes.

I never thought we were going to see 1A grow into 3rd years, the series always seemed poised to end some time after the big war, but I do feel like we haven't really focused on the nitty gritty of the class 1A characters.

Not many of them have been given moments to themselves where they talk about what they want to do and accomplish in this final arc. I think the ones we've seen are literally Deku, Shoto, Aoyama, and Jiro. You could say that some of them had moments during the Deku retrieval arc but those moments are incredibly fleeting and haven't been brought up again at all.

The issue isn't them ending as first years, its that we're heading into a final conflict, and all the characters still feel fairly blank. Most of them don't have any specific or unique goals or motivations going into the final battle.

This could be fixed, but judging by Hori's track record, I don't think it will be. Maybe we'll get some more smaller moments here and there, but thats it I think. Most of the characters won't end up being fleshed out at all.

For some characters, it would be really easy to give proper motivations before the final battle. Just give them a goal or something they are focusing on in the battle. Thats sort of why I liked chapter 263 all that way back in the first war. It gave a minor character(Kaminari) a solid grounding reason for the present situation they were in. It was a very effective chapter at making a character that was pretty minor instantly more likeable. We haven't really gotten that for most characters leading into this conflict at all. Most are just nodding along with what everyone else thinks.

Its why the "RIGHT!" page in 338 with all of them looking serious sort doesn't land very well. Its because we don't know half these characters enough to be invested in them getting serious about the final struggle.
