TBH, Midnight isn't that big of a loss when you consider she's the only pro hero from UA that we'd gotten to know that actually died.

People were a bit disappointed that Gran Torino, or some minor students didn't die.

I still thought she had plenty of potential...

I mean, she had never really had that much character to begin with aside from being the horny teacher who the students liked.

Hence why she had room to grow and change and do something... not a static character who we know has a certain place and placement in the story like All Might.

Well, All Might isn't just a static character really. If I were to compare Midnight to anyone, it would be someone like Vlad from class B.

She's someone with a notable screen presence and personality quirk, but not really much beyond that.

I'm not arguing that she was super important. But to say she equal to Vlad, is a major disservice to her... imo

Midnight also had quite the development in Vigilante. Overall her character is quite bigger than Vlad and equal to Present Mic.

I don't really count vigilantes as part of the main manga.
