There is concrete evidence for Kizaru with his defense being more durable than Kaido
First off he was bleeding to Gear 2 attacks
A nameless G5 attack, without muscle buffing, without spinning, without flames
Meanwhile Kizaru didn’t bleed from WSG and came out clean, he’s on a completely different level

His AP is still high(even killed Luffy*) but the DC feat I agree.
Hybrid Drunken Kaido DC feats where sadly not impressive. If he could use a hakai move and split the island in half with it, his DC feat in Hybrid form would be amazing.
However his Flame Dragon Bagua is a pretty huge DC feat. Still only one move of him who had a huge DC lvl feat.
In comparison Whitebeard DC feat are something else.
Yeah, Kaido is a pretty complete fighter, combining the highest level of physical stats along with top tier Haki and a powerful and versatile fruit. Fitting for the world's strongest creature. Though obviously there must be stats where he falls behind in order to have peers. His FS is probably situational (access to it in drunk mode), his armament might not be maxed out (e.g. internal destruction Haki), his fruit isn't awakened (though I guess his drunken state somewhat taps into that field, giving him a more beastly form with stronger stats). There will be people with better overall speed and reaction (e.g. Kizaru handling Snakeman's speed much more comfortably), more AP and lethality.
Though as a total package, Kaido is among the top.
