When it comes to crews Jinbe was introduced without his crew and we didn’t see them in fishman island when Jinbe was asked to join the Straw Hats.

Moving along we also know Jinbe never wanted to be a leader of the sun pirates. And when we went to WCI we finally met his crew and his replacement.

Laws crew is much more integral to his character. We saw how much they all love each other in Zou and honestly how much they need law and vice versa. Law was introduced along with his trio of Bepo Shachi and penguin.

Law having a crew is not the same as Jinbe. As Jinbe just inherited his crew where as Law formed it himself.

And to the franky point, the franky family weren’t pirates. They’re bounty hunters and when franky was given a bounty he wouldn’t be able to stay in water 5 safely so he had to leave.

Law has spent most of his time in the series away from them and I don't think Law has to be exactly the same as Jinbe. They were both still captains and actually Jinbe has spent more time with his crew than Law had.

Anyways I think there's an open plot line with his crew that will probably lead to Law either acknowledging their weakness or temporarily leaving. They were supposed to break him out and that never panned out. I doubt Oda just suddenly forgot about that and I think he's planning something

Honestly, lot of people aren't even invested in the characters themselves, but the idea of them becoming a SH. Every time a candidate shows up, they gain immediate popularity without doing shit. When they don't join, their popularity immediately tanks.

One thing I know, that one of Robin fans is a hypocrite here. She came to one of fellows thread about Jinbei's official color. She repeatedly suggest that Yamato should be SH even though the op already explained their theory. When the op didn't agree with her and explained their argument she bring Carrot again specifically, and not Tama or Pudding or even Ginrummy. Hell she even suggest that Yamato should change her name to Oden just to fit the alphabet theory (silly, but yeah acceptable) while repeatedly said that she wasn't Carrot hater but here she acts like Carrot hater.

You just laid out the pieces for a self discovery arc. If anything this increases her chances because all Straw Hats with maybe the exception of Zoro had a character arc when they joined.

Depsite the fact that i think she is joining the crew i do think that people overrate luffy bond to yamato for these reason. Like she only saw luffy as joyboy and ace brother not for who he is. Think she has to travel with him beacuse she oden.

We haven't seem her flashback and we haven't had "that" moment yet from her. All Straw Hat's character arcs are defined by good messages. Usopp's was being proud of who you are, Nami's was about sharing the burden and not doing everything on your own, Sanji's about treasuring people over materialistic things and so on. Yamato's is clearly leading to one where she has to accept that she doesn't have to cosplay a guy to live out her dreams.
