The people using the anime to push Carrot as SH as no different than the people who pushed Momo and Kinemon for the exact same reasons. They appeared in anime shots on Toei accounts too. Those even appeared in color spreads with the SHs.

Once again, Carrot does something another character has already done, but its unique SH material specifically for her for some reason.

If Oda finally does her NAKAMA, they'll be complaining about Oda being a traitor to his story, and will say Carrot is a Mugi because of her popularity, not because of him wanting to do something with her...

I don’t think I’d call it hard evidence of anything if it’s out of context, although I’d enjoy the hell out of it and WANT it to be proof of something more meaningful, which is what I think is going on there.

I'm obviously not on team Carrot but I'm also not on team Yamato. Both are bland, trash characters to me. I just go by evidence and so far, you can make a strong argument for Yamato while there's no argument for Carrot outside the usual 'what if' scenarios used for every other candidate. Same thing was done for Yamato at the start when she had nothing going for her as well.

O-Tama so far developed a good relationship with all the early Strawhats: Luffy,Zoro,Sanji (saved her recently),Chopper,Nami and Usopp. She lacks indeed a deep relationship with the latest SHs like Franky,Robin,Jinbei and Brook. But I think the bonds she developed are already good. Did the previous kids appeared in the previous arcs (Chinney or Aisa for example) developed such bonds with many Strawhats? As far as i remember,they were mostly only with Luffy.

2. Strong focus in an arc. Check...Minus for Carrot
3. Special interaction with Luffy. Check....Minus for Carrot.
4. Actual motivation to sail? Check...Minus for Carrot
5. Potentially foreshadowed? Check. Minis for Carrot

The other SHs went through the same thing and Carrot is doing the opposite.
