Jinbe will fight the best from the OG recruits (Burgess?)...
Zoro will fight the best from ID recruits (Shiliew)...
Sanji will fight the best from later recruits (10th TC)...

Blcakbeard will have 12 Titanic Captains

Well, we can't count the possibility out... WBP has 16 Ship Commanders, with 14 active ones coming to MF...

The Blackbeard Pirates are pretty much the dark versions of the SHs; we already know that BB is Luffy's foil. The SHs are all going the hard route while the BB pirates reap the benefits of the easy route, always showing up at the right time to steal the show. It keeps Blackbeard one step ahead of Luffy at all times.

With all this, it makes sense for the BB pirates to be easy mode SHs both narratively and thematically. So similar, yet opposites at the same time.

Vasco Shot looks like a Fishman, Lafitte appears to be a Siren, Catarina is a Kitsune Zoan, Van Auger could get Decken's Mark-Mark Fruit etc..

If Yamato joins, she has lots of surface level connections to Catarina Devon.

Come think of it, the SHs indeed started by recruiting even weaklings like Nami and Usopp, and since Chopper joined there's no downgrade of next recruits joining... It was also Luffy who made BB's ID invasion easier...

Van Augur is an extreme believer of fate, somewhat opposite of Usopp being heavily dependent of luck...
Shiliew is somewhat lazy and unloyal, opposite of Zoro who is very dedicated and hardworking and is very loyal...

Interestingly, Catarina is called the "Crescent Moon Hunter"... Yamato is the self-proclaimed Oden who carried the Crescent Moon symbol...

For the debate of whether we get 10 or 12 members, it really looks like it's gonna be 10.

1. Luffy said he thinks 10 people would make a good crew, and Oda said Luffy wasn't including himself.

2. The SH pirates were supposed to have all 10 members assembled within 1.5 years(serialization)

3. SH pirates were supposed to complete preskip but plans changed

4. Oda said at least one more member is joining the SHs(which would make 10 since Jinbe was already considered a member at the time).

Most of this came from an Oda interview in Yomiuru Shinbun newspaper.

With this, we can comfortably say that the SHs will get one last member to make 10 recruits, and it will happen in Wano. Sorry, but there is no "Yamato and Carrot joins!" happy endings for anyone. One fanbase is gonna be bitching.

Roger Pirates left their freeloaders in Wano... Further leaving "minor" members (aka Shanks and Buggy) before Laugh Tale...

Yeah fair. But the chief of staff thing has never been mentioned in the manga, only a vivre card I think. And it's his stealth that was emphasised at Mariejois instead of his strength like was the case with Shiryu. But tbh I hadn't considered him for Sanji much at all really.

That's because the Blackbeard Pirates have not been highlighted in the manga.

I'd like to remind you though that Sabo is the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionaries.

I think it makes more sense to return to Luffy at this stage.

Vivi doesn’t know Dragon, Sabo has Luffys vivre card. And basically Sabo would play the oden role on Luffys ship (hinted at in the oden flashback when Oda mirrored Ace to whitebeard and Sabo to oden)

Sanjis a more major straw hat than Nami is. As he’s known as Luffys Wing, making him the left hand and #3 of the straw hat pirates. So him vs Lafitte works

And it’s pretty clear Vasco shot is Brooks battle imo since he’s portrayed as an evil jester with the jester hat and the constant smile from his alcohol.

As for Lafitte, he has a special introduction as a prominent member of BBs crew sneaking into an important meeting between the head of the marines and the warlords in Mariejoa.

And Lafitte opened the gates of justice for Blackbeard to enter the war of Marineford and Impel down, while Sanji closed the Gates of Justice to allow Luffy to escape the destruction of Enies lobby.
