My main issue is that no matter how much Nika we get it always feels like Luffy is possessed by someone, at least Ichigo and Naruto literally had a demon inside them. Both Ichigo and Naruto subdued that demon at some point while Nika completely took over Luffy.
At least Oda knew what he was getting into. I can respect that.

He realy isn’t. He is the chosen one, like every other shonen protagonist. Basically an incarnation of Joyboy and Roger. He has literally every single rare ability in the story. Has a literal God Fruit. Has a special Bloodline, by being a D. Everybody likes him and follows him. He is the savior of the world.

There is a huge difference in how Luffy is laughing and how somebody would laugh when being angry.
The best example would be Doflamingo, you can clearly see that he is pissed when laughing. He is just a maniac.
While with Goofy, we get the “Are you having fun laugh“
And even a maniac like Doflamingo didn’t laugh about the people that were close to him, while Goofy is laughing while VP is bleeding out in front of him…

Expressions stil matter. It’s just extremely inappropriate to fucking laugh and goof around while your friend is bleeding out on the ground right next to you.
