It seems the new 2D Zelda will also feature the new gameplay elements in BotW/TotK. It was clear but now it's basically confirmed. However, I still didn't see any "shrines", so I'm having hopes... Developing 120 or even 153 mini dungeons, which are so extremely repetitive in design except puzzles, are the biggest mistakes of the new Zelda formular.

I think it’s the classic formula + new mechanics (based on totk)
We will have at least 5 dungeons

the Deku's are back, I’m so happy
I missed them somehow
and we have River and Sea Zoras in the game

Just finished Paper Mario: The Thousand Years Door. Very nice gameplay, with lots of humor, attaching characters and a much better story than usual for Mario games.

It's most certainely a great year for Mario and his players.

Why are they not doing a regular Nintendo Direct? Also, are there difficulties in development of the Switch successor or why are they keep stalling the announcement? I just cannot grasp it...
