What does caring about Swordsmanship mean? Zoro shoots haki beams too. He obviously cares about it to make it his main fighting style
Swordsmanship is about cutting. As koshiro says, a swordsman should be able to cut anything they desire.
Shanks is a swordsman, but his use of haki goes beyond the scope of swordsmanship as evident by the fact he does not cut people.

Shoots CoA Haki beams..
That's the reason why Oda has not shown Mihawk's base CoC?.. I guarantee you Mihawk can't split the sky..
It’s not that Zoro uses haki. Zoro uses haki to cut, Shanks does not.
Shanks used his sword to send a targeted CoC blast at GB to paralyze him. It should be very obvious that such a feat goes beyond the scope of the art of swordsmanship, which is primarily concerned with cutting.

Also, I’d bet that something like future sight is also beyond the scope of swordsmanship. Swordsmen use CoO to sense the breath of things, which helps allows them to cut them.
Fortune telling has no bearing on swordsmanship.
