It’s extremely stupid. But Oda had to make the subordinates look good too. He couldn’t have Law/Kid/Luffy completely shitting on Killer/Zoro. As Hawkins/King are there final matchups. Whereas the captains are fixing to down Yonko. people got confused thinking those characters were actually stronger.

Kid from what I’m gathering, awakening has 2 noticeable functions. Firstly it counteracts extremely mobile characters abilities like flight/FS/shambles. By theoretically making his attacks as hard to dodge as lord Kata. As they Home on to there targets, no matter if they dodge. Secondly if he’s able to add magnetism to the opponent, an do an opposite force on himself. He can potentially make it harder to Land attacks or weakened the impact all together @ReggieZoldyck21 @Legendaryconquer#1

There is a reason why Oda gave him a new goal in Wano, which was

The technique he used wasn’t too impressive true especially in comparison to that of Law. However, he surely has more to show with awakening. I ain’t betting against Oda making Kid use some insane attacks with awakening later on in this fight.

Since he has next to no feats he wants to rely on characters standing beside each other on panel

Obviously a zoro fan, typical of not understanding basic storytelling after over 1000 chapters, oda proves you again and again you are wrong and you still persists.
Sanji example had no feats and now because of PORTRAYAL as relative to zoro as one of the wings handles queen and gets PU, so you ruined your own point.

If we compare with Katakuri and Doffy who were able to use without stamina issues. It means more room to grow for Law and Kidd

Yep, it's definitely a plus for both Doflamingo and Katakuri, considering that awakening seems to take stamina. They clearly mastered their awakening. Now Law and Kid need to master it like that too, which will be shown vs Big Mom.
