Putting Kama sonic, gamma knife, togen totsuka (scabbard fail version) and tatsumaki above "mickey mouse" awakening is a joke. Clear out your head.
And those other attacks did damage to Kaido, wheras only the awakening attacks worked on BM.

BM- uninjured throughout her life, zero external wounds.

This is a breathtaking sequence, it doesn't even look like One Piece on first glance.

The symbolism is obvious, with soaring towards the top the victor and King plummeting to the bottom the loser. Their flashbacks show that it was a battle of wills, which were for both to never lose again for the sake of their captain. Zoro's will was just stronger in the end.

King of Hell will take some getting use to. Pirate Hunter made sense on multiple levels, and still applies now. But King of Hell? Just seems too far on the nose. We'll see how it develops, after all Enma was the ruler of Onis. And the main antagonist of the arc is an Oni. Oda doesn't do these things for no reason.

Usopp's moment with the Samurai looks like the highlight, though. Usopp may be claiming himself a coward, but his warrior spirit is shining by cherishing and protecting the lives of the Samurai who are willing to take their's.

Clear lance getting stronger by the use, look how far away he is from Onigashima.

I'm not sure if Kid is actually going to unlock AdVCOC in this arc. Oda appears to have chosen the devil fruit option for Kid and Law.

If Kid unlocks ADVCOC now, he won't make good use of it because he has no mastery. Luffy found it extremely difficult to control him.

He doesn't need Luffy tier mastery of it, because he has awakening, which in of itself is extremely powerful

like compare zoro vs Mr. 1 purely in terms of art to his current fight. Imo the art in Zoro vs Mr 1 was just much more expressive than in later fights
