Again he was not a marine hq rear admiral. He would actually get demoted if they moved him from a weaker district to marine head quarters. Oda already explained this in an sbs

No no no… Coby is a rear admiral… He is not the head of the fleet… Like his rank makes it literally impossible for him to head a fleet of ships… Only vice admiral and above can command fleets… So Coby isn’t the only person going to Boa… It doesn’t matter whether you think he’s the strongest in the fleet going there or whatever, his rank literally makes it impossible for him to be the highest ranking person there

So the marines DID NOT in fact do some kind of vague power scaling and just determine that Coby is equal or stronger than Boa… No fuckin way that’s a good argument

He was rear admiral from another district. He was not marine hq rear admiral.

The only exceptions would be if the marine HQ iself sent you to another district. In that case you would still keep your rank as marine HQ marine.

Since xdrake was not marine HQ rear admiral if he was placed in marine HQ he would actually be given a position a few ranks down. This was all explained in am sbs by oda

That's not how that works lmao. Rear Admiral is Rear Admiral everywhere. What is with that headcanon? This has never been stated in the manga anywhere. The only thing that changed was that he has a Captain Rank on Sword, thats it.

Actually I’m gonna say Zoro is nowhere near Luffy… Because Luffy is currently Yonko level and Zoro is YC1 and the gap in power between these two levels is fuckin night and day

and sorry for bringing up power levels in this discussion about whether Coby will be top 5 in the verse EoS… I didn’t know Coby’s current power level didn’t matter in discussing this
