Gear 2 / 3 was a big deal. It wasted energy after using it, Luffy became small and powerless.
Then it later was replaced by CoA haki.

Now, G4 was a big deal. It wasted energy after using it, Luffy became sitting duck and begging for gladiators / Brulee's help.
Then now it is replaced by advanced CoA and advanced CoC.

No more "rivalling Hybrid Kaido in base" nonsense. Gear 4 doesn't mean shit anymore.

That fanfic is fun and all but it's as expected of reddit. The shameless Luffy wank makes the hardcore powerscalers here seem tame. Dude literally drew Luffy saying no one besides him can take on Akainu or Blackbeard then claims he'll take on both.
