This is just the repeat of gear 2 / 3 in the pre timeskip.
Gear 2 / 3 was a big deal. It wasted energy after using it, Luffy became small and powerless.
Then it later was replaced by CoA haki.
Now, G4 was a big deal. It wasted energy after using it, Luffy became sitting duck and begging for gladiators / Brulee's help.
Then now it is replaced by advanced CoA and advanced CoC.
No more "rivalling Hybrid Kaido in base" nonsense. Gear 4 doesn't mean shit anymore.
Minutes ago: Kaido too fast even Luffy using future sight can't dodge... Now: Luffy's walking on Kaido club...
Is this something to do with AdvCOC, or it is just trash writing from Oda???

Wait I just noticed something, if we cut away to Mariejois in real time, why isn't it night time there? There is a clear distinction between the sky and the clouds so it couldn't be that it's just cloudy.
or would this be the first time ever we see differing timezones in the series lol? Really interesting nonetheless
That fanfic is fun and all but it's as expected of reddit. The shameless Luffy wank makes the hardcore powerscalers here seem tame. Dude literally drew Luffy saying no one besides him can take on Akainu or Blackbeard then claims he'll take on both. The overwank of Luffy and downplay of everyone else is nuts acting like anyone can run a gauntlet of two top tiers... And to top it off he goes and makes Jinbe Zoro Sanji 3 v 1 Kizaru.
I personally can't take a fight seriously when one of the participants is drinking in the middle of it, and is getting his ass handed to him. Kaido looks like a streetside bum.
Yoooo this could make a lot of sense actually. Yeah it would make sense for the tree to be nearby and he has avoided showing the top of red line as much as possible
