Yes living a happy life under a kind master, after literally enslaving, killing and starving a large population is better than these violent evil chimera deserve.

If you are saying you as a violent invasion force would rather live under the power of Sugar for the rest of your life than Tama because at least you'd "be your evil self" even if you'd be happier under Tama's power, then too bad, don't put someone in a self defense situation by taking away their rights.

Was it really just being too strong, successful and such? Building too much of an empire? "slavery of innocents where the master is extremely cruel" is bad is the actual message
None of these gifters are innocents and their master is not cruel
So no it's not hypocritical when compared against the previous examples of slavery that were shown to be bad.
