Saturn is not a fighter? I think Kizaru will not fight Luffy
By shonen logic and specifically Oda logic sure. I just would find it dumb if he intends on using his personal strength ass out on the enemy's turf. One way or another Luffy beat Kaido so it's a stupid gamble
Capable of taking out a fleet easily is still capable of taking out a fleet easily. Even fodder can give you the edge in OP. Kidd deserves praise for being able to do that, regardless of his devastating loss this chapter
No he was a legit new world pirate, probably wouldn't lose to any captain under Yonko and maybe he'd beat guys like Beck.

But ultimately it was a flawless victory. If he's alive he's about to start painting with Bellamy

Did Oda just lowkey confirm that Blackbeard is still above Luffy

Shanks being worried that BB would show up on wano

gear 5 and advanced haki still not enough? Oda will probably give him another powerup

Peak fiction

Reborn

Throughout Heaven & Earth,I alone am d Honored One
Gotta say - shanks is the only one who enjoys badass and over the top portrayal

Challenged BB and then navy at MF
Stops the MF war on his terms
Cooked Greenbull while looking for Teach
And, one shot both kidd and killer

:crazwhat:

Considering his wank from Oda, how he let shanks lose his arm to a fuckin sea king is beyond my understanding lol

Bs

First of all shanks isnt a villain.

Second of all, this ShOnEn logic has zero weight there is basically no common powerscaling logic accross all shonen.

And yes, there have been Shonen where previous villains still remain the stronger one.
F.ex. Makoto Shishio was Kenshin's strongest challenge even after he beat Enishi. And Oda literally worked with Watsuki as an assistant on Rorouni Kenshin.

WSC Kaidou >~ Shanks.
In one piece you can be an enemy to the MC and not be a villain. Lets go over all of the cases why this works for Shanks:

1. Luffy intended to fight Ace, his brother, for One Piece

2. Shanks intends to meet Luffy at his strongest:

3. Luffy wants to not only surpass Shanks, but physically beat him (lets stop acting like Big Mom has the same narrative importance as Shanks, its embarrassing people bring it up like it means anything):

4. Shanks looks at Luffy's bounty poster ominously prior to becoming a Yonko (why does this seem to happen virtually every single time too?):

5. Shanks meeting the Gorosei is reason #1 why we should all be doubting his character, good or bad. The scene is a contradiction, as Shanks, protector of the weak, is discussing issues about a "certain pirate" with people who literally enslave the weak and are very public about it:

6. Shanks, savior of the weak and fair fights, goes to Wano to ensure Blackbeard doesnt attack Luffy here, but in the same breath, decides to go after Luffy's fleet responsible for burning his flags:

7. Shanks also decides, once again ominously, to go for One Piece now, a direct competition against Luffy and Blackbeard:

8. Then while giving Kid a chance to leave, quite literally DESTROYS him when Kid does the opposire and we are left with yet ANOTHER ominous image of Shanks in the end:

9. For fun, you have this comparison between possible "traitors" where Oda only seems to draw people like this when they intend to betray someone in the future. Note that Apoo and Kanjuro's images come hundreds of chapters before they were shown to have betrayed their respectivr groups:

Just food for thought. I think people have this BB vs Shanks thing WAY too simply made. Its more complicated than this, this literally is not all coincidence. There is definitely intent with how Oda draws him and certain key dialogue and scene posed by his character.

I also can see this tying hugely back to chapter 1 from a betrayal of ideals standpoint, and it is very much in line with Oda's "humor" on making his quote unquote "self insert" the main obstacle Luffy has in this story.

Just my 2 cents....I know the brigade will attack me for it

Luffy should go down at least before meeting Shanks and I think he will go down in egg head and his father will help him and luffy will learn everything about what is going on. And he will never have to look back from there and Only he will become the great pirate.

BB won't be at egghead. It doesn't make sense and mess with timelines.

Most likely one or two captains of BB.

Everyone in the BBP were or are on the move - kizaru at wci, BB at snake island and then intercepted law.
Maybe he can be there can augur have the teleportation DF.
Make no sens to send his commander when a yonko is there with is entire crew BB is not dumb enough to make 2 time the same error “burgess alone in DR”

Considering his wank from Oda, how he let shanks lose his arm to a fuckin sea king is beyond my understanding lol
The Sea King stuff makes less and less sense as the story goes on, like man had a 1 billion bounty at that point. Only way is that he did it on purpose to "show Luffy how dangerous the sea is" or some shit.

Can't explain how the Haki future sight master was outsmarted by Higuma with a smoke bomb though.
:seriously:
