I'm Akainu fan, but Gorosei are immortal so they don't only have the power that can kill anyone including Kaido or Akain, but they can defeat anyone due this immortality, unless we get confirmation, that Gorosei has timelimit, and then immortality gone.

Also there is a posibility that their immortality needs to be restored in Marijoise, so they can't use fullpower anywhere unless it's Marijoise.

Right now all depends on Gorosei's immortality rules.
