Japanese scandals are like playground fights compared to Western world. They get disgraced just for having affairs or getting with fans who are more than old enough to consent and make decisions for themselves.
Meanwhile you got niccas like Drake doing actual p*doph*le shit and still walking around like they own the industry with fans staunchly defending his sorry ass. The Sabo shit is wild but like why should he get fired for it?
Thats absolutely true, you're right. Only things I draw issue with is that he apparently assaulted her (I've heard its just a slap too but still) and he forced her to have an abortion too supposedly. But aside from that I agree with you entirely, there is MUCH worse going on out there as you said with Drake, Diddy and many other "artists" and celebities generally, Falling In Reverse the band being another example too.
With Sabo's VA, its probably a case of Japan taking the image of their celebrities/talents/Idols or w/e extremely seriously, their reputations matter most of all and thus they needed this sweeping under the rug before it blows up and damages everything this VA is associated with, especially something as beloved immensely by Japan and even worldwide like One Piece and him voicing such a major and loved (and also hated ofc lmao) character too.
Japan can be really annoying with this shit as you can see here for example:
According to an article from a Japanese showbiz news site named Nikkan Taishu, in which the site did an interview with someone familiar with the situation, Sega wanted to publish Lost Judgement on PC/Steam to further extend the series' audience but the protagonist's actor Takuya Kimura's talent agency refrained them from doing so due to their very strict portraiture right policy (very limited pictures of their talents even on their website). Sega thinks this doesn't look reasonable in terms of business and decides to end the series with the second entry.
Most of the above info is in the 2nd page of the article.
Edit: Some of you ask why the talent agency prevent Sega from publishing the PC version, as I say in the post, the talent company "Johnny's" have a very strict portraiture right policy, they don't want their talents' portraits on "a PC platform that is not a game console platform and connects directly to Internet."
Well this more a specific talent agency but I know they take the image/reputation of their celebs very seriously over there.
Aside from that, I really dont know either, Im trying to figure out a logical answer for it but theres a lot of double standards, a lot of unjustified bias running rampant out there, selective morality or w/e. Japan is way more strict on certain types of crimes than we are in other countries but is way more leniet than they ever should be on certain types of crimes. The Watsuki incident being a truly overwhelming example of that too.
I found out a VA/Seiyuu I know from the slice of life show Is the Order a Rabbit died in 2022 (he voiced... uh... the talking rabbit that sits on a girl's head, LOL). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motomu_Kiyokawa
I can't describe how much SWAG this man's Wiki picture has:

Lmao wow, a few Japanese men have this really cool, stylish old man swag, he kinda reminds me of Pikataro, the guy who looks like an IRL Kizaru in Japan lmao.
And then theres Frankys legendary or even SUUUUUPEEEEER VA ofc:
And then theres Kubo, Araki, Suda 51 etc putting IMMENSE style and flair into their series, absolutely iconic and spectacular!
I’m going against the grain: Franky 100 % is now confirmed to have CoA. Perhaps the colorless version Sanji had for a long while (he does have black now right?).
Question is if Franky himself knows it?
Similar to Usopp CoO or Zoro CoC (that he got the grasp of in record time though he didnt understand it at first).
Duuuude, how did you recognize this one?! But didn't everything happen at the same time in the cover story or do you think it's just foreshadowing of what'll happen to Mars?
Robins finisher vs Black Maria looked like black CoA.
I wouldnt be surprised if Brook skips regular CoA affecting the physical body from outside and rather shows affinity for Ryou. It is a swordsmans technique and he is the Soul King so it would make sense he rather goes for internal damage.

I have recently read Luffy vs Krieg and the send you flying/knock you to the moon caught my eye.
Also remembered that Luffy sent Wapol flying, similarly with Crocodile as well.
Well, we always assumed that Enel reached the Moon back then but it might have all been a future event that we saw.
The explosion on the moon is not caused by Mars tho, afaik it is a factory that got blown up or something.
I would go with foreshadowing of possible events... If Enel has a purpose and is making a comeback, this could certainly be tied to it.
And I recently made a theory that Sea God is imprisoned on the Moon so I am certainly looking forward to Mars possibly landing there and sensing someone deep underground. Assuming Oda wants to get rid of Mars now so he can play Katarina's card of fake Saturn.
That would likely mean that no Elder will leave the island alive/undefeated. If Mars returns, it would be too late to reveal the imposter Saturn or he might be beaten on the Moon...

If Mars actually got knocked out of atmosphere... I want to see Mars use that to his advantage, and shoot down to Egghead from space like a Meteor.
He can tank the flame damage, so, it would turn Mars into more or less a giant flaming Haki missile.
Really hope Mars lands on the Moon, at least for a bit. Would be funny if Enel viewed it as the World Government launching an attack on him when it's really Luffy's fault.
