I personally hope not, only because if he is the Ace, and the Ace is the strongest fighter save for Kaido/Big Mom, does that mean Luffy won't fight Kaido/Big Mom this arc?

Part of my fear is that he is the next "Katakuri" but for Kaido; Luffy's main fight/antagonist for the arc even though the main villain is looming over.

There are been suggestions that Kaido and BM are going to want to start Rocks up again and just leave Wano. I know it SHOULDN'T happen, but I'm scared at possibility lmao. Something about Rocks and its setup doesn't strike me as being resolved this arc. Idk why.
